2021 ASEAN Media Partners Forum Successfully Held in Beijing

Philippines to China, Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Ambassador of Thailand to China, Mr. Chen Dehai,Secretary-General of the ASEAN China Centre (ACC), Mr. Shen Haixiong, President and Editor-in-Chief of CMG, and representatives from ASEAN Member States (AMS) embassies in China and AMS media presented in person. During the forum, CMG and ASEAN media partners initiated a Joint Statement on Strengthening Cooperation and officially launched the “ASEAN Media Partners” cooperation mechanism.

On 14 July 2021, the 2021 ASEAN Media Partners Forum hosted by China Media Group (CMG) was successfully held in Beijing. The forum aims at strengthening cooperation between the CMG and ASEAN media partners in the post-pandemic era and fostering greater regional prosperity. Around 100 guests from 33 media organizations in 15 countries attended the event online or offline. Mr. Raja Nushirwan, Ambassador of Malaysia to China, Mr. Jose S. L. Sta.
